    Beer goes with wings.
Fruit juice in the morning for the good, healthy stuff.
Coca-cola, root beer, lemnonade or iced tea will do me for anything else.
I don’t drink coffee & rarely have alcoholic beverages, although I’ve enjoyed the Port, Stilton cheese and walnuts combo.

I only drink coffee, water and tea (hot and cold) …. So, I guess I have to work everything into one of those !!!

I pretty much like anything sweet with coffee and anything savory with Tea or water!

OH MAN, is this a great question…!!!

I’m one of those people who loves "tradition" (my wife refers to it as "anal"). I just HAVE to have certain drinks with certain foods:

    Cookies – milk
    Hamburgers – Coke
    Donuts – coffee
Peanut butter sandwich – milk (Thanks, SJ, for those two; I agree!)
Red sauce Italian – dry red (my preference as a cocktail for this is vodka rocks)
    Hot dogs/coneys – root beer
    BBQ at home – beer
BBQ at a Central Texas joint – Big Red
Sushi – semi-dry white or COLD sake
    Breakfast in general – coffee
Lunch in general – iced tea
Dinner in general – Hopefully, I will have had enough libation that I won’t care!! [:D][}:)][;)]

A donut is no good without hot coffee.
BBQ demands cold sweet ice tea.
Roast beef and a hearty red wine – Cabernet sauvignon, zinfandel.
    a sturdy Rhone.
Wursts and beer ( and a good Alsatian Riesling is also fine).
Pasta with tomato sauce and a cheap Chianti type from Italy. Wish I could still finds that cheap stuff wrapped in straw.
A cigar with good brandy. Gave up the cigar long ago, but the brandy and the memory of the cigar are sufficient.

I can not eat waffles and bacon without ice cold milk. Stilton cheese begs for a glass of port. Things ground beef seem to need beer. Thanksgiving turkey and ham go great with a glass of riesling or gewurztraminer. Iced vodka with smoked salmon.
What food-drink combinations do it for you?
