Best of luck Donnaduck2005,
When my parents lived in Phoenix thirty years ago, Arizonians had know idea what real pizza was…thanks for educating people in the land of the son!
Welcome aboard and the very best of luck to you and your business.
Personally speaking, I am very, pro-independent and, very anti-chain. I wish you well.
It’s a tough world out there but, I still adhere to, "build it and they will come".
BT, thank you for letting us all know! Our mission, if decide to accept, is to enlighten other that there really is great food available! I promise, if I am in that part of the country, we will go to ‘Two Girls Pizza’.[:D]
That pizza looks good! Do you have any problem with all of those fresh veggies giving off a lot of water when baking the pie?
Bring it on Legal Lady! But note, this juror is prejudiced to his own homebrew pie..
Olive Garden =’s the worst food on the planet..Cheesecake Factory overpriced, over hyped, and average food at best…even I make better cheescake.
I Believe the Jury is still out on that claim until we at least see pictures![V][V][8D]
I finally ate at an Olive Garden–with my Mom in FL over the holidays. I just had to do it. She likes the place and I was overcome with curiosity. I had eggplant parmesan which reminded me very much of Michelina’s frozen version available in any supermarket except it cost several times as much.
I’ve never tried their pizza. Fortunately, Mom likes an excellent local pizzeria (on A1A in Ormond) called Stavro’s.
By the way–we are now a year later and Two Girl’s seems to be doing very well. On Friday and Saturday evenings it’s packed. And it gets decent business the rest of the week. One problem around here is that the population of the place gets cut about in half when all the snowbirds (like me) leave for the summer so I don’t know what sort of business they have in July and August. But I think they can survive and make money as long as they want to.
I imagine that if there is a Hell, its not unlike "all you can eat pasta and breadsticks" at Olive Garden.
Are you any relation to rainroosty? Since you both live in Lake Worth and love crap pizza, you two ought to get together and do lunch. [;)][}:)][xx(] pb
I wonder if a letter to the local paper would help? Is there a food columnist that works for this paper?
I am thinking that with a little editing, your letter could get printed, as long as you do not mention the chains, which are their steady advertisers.
I am of the feeling that people will go out of the way to eat something good if they know about it. We do it. Sadly, many people would not know about good food if you hit them on the head.
How can you say that Olive Garbage and Cheesecake factory have good pizza when your in LAKE WORTH.. you have all those great Italian places around you .. Blachhhh… give me a Pie from any place then a chain and some of the garlic knots… and I’d be in heaven… I’m just Heaving thinking about a chain pizza[xx(][xx(]
Both Olive Garden and Cheesecake Factory have excellent home-style pizzas….so good! [:D]
BT.. Finding a decent pizza shop now days is a project in itself. Lucky you for finding this gold mine!
