New menu items will include the Breakfast Baconator, the Frosty-ccino (a Frosty-inspired coffee drink) and the Honey Butter Chicken Biscuit.
The Breakfast Baconator, a spin on Wendy’s Baconator burger, is made with an egg, six strips of Applewood smoked bacon, one breakfast sausage patty (it will be square, of course) and two slices of American cheese, all topped with a cheesy hollandaise sauce
The chain’s Frosty-ccino combines cold brew coffee with either chocolate or vanilla Frosty cream.
Wendy’s Honey Butter Chicken Biscuit features a buttermilk biscuit base, topped with a fried chicken breast that’s been slathered with whipped honey butter.
Other menu items will include seasoned breakfast potatoes and croissant sandwiches.
That Breakfast Baconator does sound interesting…
I got tired of the Egg McMuffin years ago. When I stopped depending on fast food breakfasts when I retired almost 15 years ago, I still liked McD’s hash browns and breakfast burritos, that’s it.
The best fast food breakfast sandwich I remember was Wendy’s BLT back in the late 80’s early 90’s? Can’t even remember if it had an egg on it but it was just right for me, and trying to press my memory even more, I think they had tater tots.
The ‘slathered with whipped honey butter’ line destroys any interest I might have had in the Chicken Biscuit but the ‘breakfast potatoes and croissant sandwiches’ is promising.
I have no idea what Wendy’s sausage patty is like but in a couple of years, I’m sure this will be offered as a Triple Breakfast Baconator, with 18 strips of bacon.

I’d have to try it at least once to decide (mmm, Honey Butter! 😉 ). Of course you could easily ask for it without the honey butter.

If the people want it and are willing to buy it, then why not?
To each his own, to be sure!
Being retired, I never have to cope with morning drive time traffic and the need to get to work on time so trying to find something to eat but not get in a rut going for the same thing every day. If I were still working I’d probably get around to trying these items and indeed might like them. I’m sure the TV commercials will make them look very attractive and Wendy’s probably knows it’s market very well.
I wasn’t suggesting they shouldn’t be offered or people shouldn’t be allowed to have them.
