Hagerstown?

ok…

Most pizza in MD stinks. But, there’s a few dotted around the Free State.

Score!  How the heck are ya!?

The pizza capital of Connecticut is … Norwich? When did New Haven break away and float off into Long Island Sound?

Obviously they’re trying to give other towns some of the spotlight — but I TOTALLY agree! New Haven has the best pizza in all of New England, for pete’s sake. [8D]  Chris
#1. PENNSYLVANIA: SCRANTON
Density of Pizza Restaurants: 9.9 per 10,000 people
Notable Restaurant: Pizza by Pappas
Try: Pappas Special
Population: 75,842

They must have used the “Metropolitan Area” which includes Old Forge.

I saw that and thought of you!  [;)]

The article isn’t about the “best” pizza in every state, but the city in each state with the most pizza joints per capita.

Haven't been to that place in Wilmington but I always go to Wood Fired Pizza in Newark when up there.

Monza in Charleston is a good pick. Tied with EVO in N. Charleston as my favorite there.

I’d say that they’re accurate about Wilmington, DE

………..

Dave, you said:

Dave, I agree with you. “Most” isn’t always “best” though……, and we all love to post about the “best”

Almost makes me want to run right out and buy an AMC Pacer.

Key word: almost.

When I opened the site and clicked through to “Texas” I fully expected to see those Left Coasters pick (yet again) Austin, that little “blue dot” in the middle of “deep red” Republic which they see as being the only sane, civilized city “down here”.

They picked Flower Mound (!), a northern burb of Dallas.

Then I looked at their criterion:  most pizza joints per capita.

Man, are they running out of things to make “lists” of, or what?[?]

Kenosha, my hometown, is the pizza capital of Wisconsin. So much to choose from. Villa de Carlo (also known as Carl's Pizza) has the best, but Ruffalo's, Valeo's, Renzo's, Casa Capri can all try their best, too.

“#41. North Dakota: Minot – Uncle Maddio’s Pizza”

Good grief.  A chain pizza place that’s been in town barely a year.  No.  A far better place is the small family run Nite Train Pizza.

Another list via MSN. This time the choice of city based on number of pizza restaurants per capita. Who knows if any of the recommended pizza places are really good, but these lists always provide new places to try out.
