How we envy Porcus enjoying the delights of PEI and how we yearn to return there – maybe next year… We hope he is enjoying the mussels and oysters and fresh produce for which PEI is justly famous. BTW:

I am visiting Prince Edward Island, Canada and have been gorging on a locally produced lox from a company called Medaillon. They are buried away in a rural area ironically nowhere near the sea but the master smoker shows up at the Charlottetown farmers market held on saturday morning. He does up classic and tasty smoked-on-bagels and has fresh and frozen packs for sale. A product worthy of the showcase at Zabar’s of Broadway! (But I never saw it there).
