que fan, thanks for the tip. Didn’t really appreciate the beauty of Washington when I was a kid growing up there. Looking forward to going back and seeing the sites.
Ganache, here’s a RF tip for you when you get up to Hurricane Ridge in ONP. DON’T under any circumstances try what they call barbeque at the snack bar at the top of the ridge (end of the road). I don’t know whose idea of Que it is, but the sandwich is barely edible. Yuccch!
Mrs QFan and I were just out there in June and it was gorgeous. Go up early in the morning if you can, as it tends to get cloudy almost every afternoon from the moisture hanging around the tops of the peaks. Enjoy!! [:D][:D]

The Oak Table in PA wouldn’t warrant even a slight mention here in NE, but is valid for breakfast … beware big portions usulayy denote mediocre food.
Check my site for anything that is halfway decent on the mainland.
Thanks for the info. I will be staying in Silverdale, about an hour away from Seattle but plan on spending a couple of days in the city and also planning on going up to Hurricane Ridge in the Olympic Mountians near Port Angeles. Any dining suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
I think it is … if it were me I’d go see the train set and then eat at Two Bells Tavern.
Is it the Iron Horse restaurant in Pioneer sq?
Grew up in Seattle. Going back for vacation this month. Trying to remember a restaurant that served burgers delivered to the table by a toy train. Does any one know the name of this restaurant and if it is still open.
