I just went into a Kohl’s store and the housewares dept was loaded with her signature orange handled cookware. It looks like she has two lines, one cheaper and one more expensive. To me the pans looked pretty beefy, even the cheaper ones. But as a guy…i’d never buy them. As far as endorsments go i’d say she crossed the line some time ago, and now just smiles when she looks at her account balance. [:0]
Even if that’s true, Dunkin’ is a proprietary blend and tastes nothing like CFON products.
But even though I love Dunkin’, I just can’t take Rachael Ray. I’m drinkin’ another brand until she’s off the account!
I was told that Dunkin’ donuts coffee is made for them by Chock full of Nuts???????…nothing more than that!
Well I ain’t giving up my Dunkin Donuts coffee. But I feel embarrassed when any celebrity is overselling themselves.
True..true…Won’t go to duncan donuts…or eat those Nabisco crackers. Don’t like her staring back at me on the package, CREEPY
I don’t know about the rest of you, but I’m suffering from Rachael Ray Burnout. If she endorses it, I won’t buy it — even if I like the product.
She’s on too many TV shows, grocery products, product displays, and magazine covers. Sometimes celebrities can just wear out their welcome through over-saturation.
OK, so I’m a sourpuss. But I actually liked her back when she started and acted normal.
Really, she did! She has endorsed, amongst others not doubt, Price Chopper supermarkets, Burger King, Nabisco and Dunkin Donuts.
Burger King would take her to court if she did!!
I think that she changed her mind and endorsed Burger King instead.
I don’t know but I seem to remember all too many times her showing a hamburger and saying "now how good does THAT look" and I always sit confused thinking "well, honestly, it doesn’t". I just don’t care for her cooking creations but I guess fame could make the business successful?
I read a while ago the RR proposed opening and burgers only restaurant in NYC, with a rotating menu of 200 burgers. Nothing seems to have happened. Does anyone know anything?
Then, there is the Dunkin Donuts restaurant coffee sold to their donut shop franchisees. [/quote]
You can buy the restaurant coffee direct from them on their web site. I alway thought that the 1lb bags were not the same as what they served in the stores. We used to get our local location to sell us the 5lb silver-pack bags, but about 3 years ago the franchise changed hands and the new store manager would not sell them. We go through a 5lb bag every 4 weeks, so now I’m on the "scheduled delivery" program right through the web site. The bags are marked with both a "roasted" date and use by date. Usually the roast date is less that 7 days old. I get the 5lb bag delivered for under $35 on the plan.
Ms. Ray doing the dishes:
Don’t know about her burgers but I heard she has nice buns…
She has to be one of the Top Ten Annoying People on the planet, IMHO. (or at least one of the most annoying folks who appear on the boob tube!)
