Also try Duke’s bbq in Walterboro SC. They have South Carolina Q and I believe their hours are more flexible than Sweatman’s
I had a terrible experience at the Georgia Pig. I stopped in there several months ago with a business colleague who was black. It was made very evident that we were not welcome. It was very uncomfortable.
There is no food good enough to endure that type of experience.

For NC, Parker’s in Wilson is a classic. In SC, Sweatman’s in Holly Hill is the best (if you’re passing through on a Friday or Saturday, the only days it’s open). Then in Georgia, the GA Pig in Brunswick is just a bone’s throw from the highway.
My family and I are travelling down to Orlando, FL on the week of 7/20, any suggestions for the best Q along the 95 corridor (a 30-minute detour is okay)?
I would like to sample both the North and South Carolina versions (sorry to the NC Westerners, logistically impossible to try your version). Whole hog ‘ques would be great!
