Thanks Ellen, for the memories, we stayed at the quality inn for new years eve weekend with another couple, the place was on the dirty.

We had dinner at both the smugglers cove and the tannersville, both were excellent, had to make reservations at the smugglers, bartender told us the place is always crowded.

Enoyed your report and pictures, Ellen. Last fall, our boss rounded up our Northeast region field reps for a couple of days’ R & R at Great Wolf. We ate at both Smuggler’s Cove and the Tannersville Inn (which also has a casual and friendly bar) but the breakfast wasn’t all that great at GW. We spent a day playing paintball, which was much more fun than the usual golf outing.

Another GWL in the Wisconsin Dells, along with 10-12 other water parks of varrying sizes. Great photos Ellen and by the looks of things, a nice trip! Thanks for sharing.

A great area with plenty to do.
I have visited there on a couple of occasions got arrested first time in the 60s, well p/ced nothing bad. Second time with wife and 2 dughters on a vacation. We broke down, bad water pump, anyway a local service garage was going to do the replacement on a Saturday. The operator who towed us said about a 6 hour job to do. He offered us, no insisted that we take his blazer while repairs were done. He suggested that a local volenteer fire department was having a field day/cookout nearby. We told him that’s where we would be had an outstanding time and the kids loved it , so did we. That group of people really made us feel at home there. Great food and plenty of games for the kids. I’d return to that area in a miniute. Chow Jim

PS Great report Ellen, thanks for the memmories
I still say I’d rather clothe you than feed you though
