The firm in the 2012 reality show Meat Men, Pat LaFrieda Meats, have brought out packages of skinless all-beef franks for supermarket distribution. ShopRite in the northeast is selling them this week for a dollar off the $9.99 price. It is a package of 8 ‘All Natural Uncured Beef Frankfurters’, each weighting 2 and 2/3 ounce. I really like them. They are made of quality cuts of beef, not like what you find in Bar-S and their ilk. I prepared them on a flat grill for an hour at about 250 Degrees F. I think the spice mix most closely mimics that of the Best Provision Company of Newark, NJ. Besides, their plants are only a few miles apart. Tender, juicy meat.

I’ve seen the name mentioned many times on Hot Dog Nation. I’m not going to be able to find them down here.
I just took a look at their web site. They ship these!
