In SC get off I 95 at Exit 160 A  going S and go E on # 20 less than a mile to Red Bone Alley in Florence Mall Shopping Center on Palmetto St. for a RBA Black and Bleu Burger or a Bubba Burger.

IMHO my restaurant serves as good a burger as any place in the Country, !/2 lb, hand pattied, locally raised, slaughtered, and processed [Norman Shriver Meats], hand cut twice fried, french fries, toasted Sesame seeded 5″ roll, all the toppings,….problem is I’m about 55 miles from I95, near the Pa. Md. line!

If the OP is seriously considering detouring to Frederick County for a burger, my advice would be to save $3 and 30 minutes and get one just as good at Black Hog in Frederick rather than driving all the way to Emmitsburg.  Kind of a stretch to put Chubby’s in this thread.

Clearly another example that you never miss an opportunity to plug your place.

Did I name my place??
I don’t know what your problem is, but clearly you got many…and I would hope that if you put the blood sweat, and money into opening a restaurant, you to would plug it when possible. Your snarky attitude is well known. Since you live in Luray, why don’t you continue to search for new much deeper Caverns.

By any chance were you talking about http://chubbysbbq.com http://chubbysbbq.com/</a></font></font></b> http://chubbysbbq.com/&lt…lt;/font></b>  16430A Old Frederick Road, Emmitsburg, MD – (301) 447-3322 ???

Listen, we have many vendors who are active posters on this site.  Biker Jim, Chicago style Dogs, etc.  IMHO they add a great deal to this site, and some of us enjoy the updates on their business.  After all, in reality, they are what this site is all about.

Danke, Joe!

I have not been to B & D for burgers.  I believe the Big Mike Burger at The Distillery would make you happy along with the 100 + craft beers. I really believe one of the 11 Crystal burgers at Crystal Beer Parlor would prove to the supreme. The CBP is 77 years old and going strong.  Best place in Savannah for some good food, cold drinks and good fun.

For some fine country road food get off I 95 at Exit 2 at Rowland, NC and go W on # 130 which is Main St. to S Railroad.  Take a left and go 2 blocks to The Pink Restaurant on Church St.

If you don’t mind driving 30 miles out of the way for the best burger’s in NC get off I 95 going S at Exit 31 at St. Paul’s, NC and go E. 10 miles on # 20 which is Broad St.  Turn right on # 87 and go 15 miles to # 41 and turn left.  Melvin’s is on the right 4 miles up the road which is Broad St. also.  If you would rather have a nice southern lunch or dinner stop before Melvin’s at Front Porch Cafe for a real southern treat.  Help yourself to the fried chicken at the buffet and some great desert then head W on Broad St. which is # 41 and go 25 miles to Lumberton, NC.  Going S to FL don’t go back to St. Paul’s or the way you came in as that’s out of the way.  Lumberton, NC has some fine road food so be on the look out for something on your return trip.

Thanks, but thats a bit out of the way.

Take Exit # 138 going S on I 95 at Nashville, NC and go W on # 64 about 6 miles to Exit # 458.  Turn back E on Western Ave. less than a mile for some outstanding BBQ at Doug Saul’s.
