Thanks, Meowzart, for the great Nat’l Geographic link; it also took me to a "visit Pittsburgh" site that was very helpful, as we’re doing our amusement park summer tour this weekend – first Herseypark & then Kennywood in Pittsburgh! [:D]
Primanti’s rocks!! So does Wholey’s around the corner for a big ol fried fish sandwich. Then go across the street to Pennsylvania Macaroni and get all the Italian fixin’s for your next meal.
The Strip District in Pittsburgh is definitely worth visiting and experiencing. I feel blessed that Pennsylvania has so many great Roadfood stops including South Philly and The Strip District in the two biggest cities in the state.
I have subscribed to the National Geographic for 40 years and I have kept each issue. It is my favorite bathroom mag.
I have not received the current issue, but when I do, I wll read the article indicated.

I just got my new National Geographic today in the mail. Inside was a small feature called "ZipUSA, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania: 15222, Come Hungry". The first page of the article is just a big beautiful picture of a Primanti’s sandwich spread over two pages. Luckily, they had the picture online. Behold! The link below:
