If you want free consumer magazines, you have go the unique url for the page that offers a particular consumer magazine "X," during the period that magazine "X" is being offered. If the magazine is available, everyone qualifies. Once they reach the quota for magazine "X" that are available, nobody qualifies.

The free business magazines (which is their primary business) are targeted to particular audiences, so one "qualifies" for the appropriate type of business magazine based upon one’s career and job description.

I went to the website, and typed in my real position, which is in education. Surprise…no free magazines are available to me at this time.

You said to be creative, and I think that advice is right on target…if you want free publications, you have to have the waiting room audience and/or buying power they are looking for.

They really don’t check up on you, though? Anyone can just type in anything? I just don’t dare…[:I]

Yes ok…..that’s what I meant. Click on the click now link. Fill out the initial job ,job title etc info and be creative 😉 Also you can do this more than once initially by using different emails. Just be sure to keep record of the accounts and passwords they give you for future use. You’ll then come to a screen that has the International Epicure then usually 4 or five offerings below. If you want any of those, tick them and continue on. Your survey will be based on magazines you picked and your job(sic)As you progess through the survey you will come to a section that talks about l50.00 of free magazines for your"waiting room or similar" and a menu of interests below it….tick a lot of those interests. This is where the cream of the crop tends to come from……but you won’t know until you start getting them, what they are. Also, there is an option to use frequent flyer miles, which I did since some of mine were expiring…….that gave me a total of 6 other magazines like Time etc. The offers change constantly and are rarely the same in succession, so again…you just have to keep being creative…Also helps to list yourself as a director, ceo , manager etc

I’m not talking about the "BONUS" pop up ad that comes with the email…….but the offer that comprises the main body of the letter. Secondly, some of these magazines will be made availiable to you in digital format, which means you will be able able to download them onto your pc and read using a program they supply called Zinio Reader……the format is the same as a regular magazine…..just no paper to worry about.

I have to tell you guys that Red must be one sharp gal. I have not been able to get a thing out of them yet……..not even a subscription to Daily Guide Posts. But like a Roadfoodie on a hunt, I will figure it out![:D][:D][:D][:0][:0][?][?]

My two goals in life are to become a chickmnagnet and also to make a million dollars in one hour on the net so I’d appreciate it if you’d forward your unwanted emails to me. [:p]

Thanks Hilldweller for backing up my claim. I know it DOES sound too good to be true, but that’s the best part about it……it’s a nice surprise when one finds out it is true, and reaps the rewards.

I can second redtressed’s comments. I’ve gotten many magazines through freebizmag. As far as I understand, they’re giving away these free consumer (non-business) magazines because the publishers need to meet circulation guarantees for their adverstisers. It’s also possible to get these same "freebies" on ebay for a nominal sum that goes to the broker, not to the publisher.

With Freebizmag, you will always get a pop-up from their sister company trying to sell consumer subs, but I just close them or use a pop-up stopper. Also, they will send you a limited number of email solicitations, but they don’t release your email, they send the solicitations for other companies. I get at most 2-3 a month, often none.

Thanks Red, but my mail delivery person would commit murder. I’m gone a lot and the mail piles up as it is, then, I decide to move, the subscriptions are around 3 months behind and end up with 2 or 3 address change labels on em’.[8D]
