    Hey Uncle V.
You have to admit that an "Ultra Dog" from Yesterdog would taste pretty darned good if it were made with a perfectly grilled Koegel Dog in that bun.

The Dog&Suds we ate at in Richmond,Ill(just over the Wisconsin border)was fantastic!!I know someone else said it was horrible, but we had a wonderful meal there and will return…its a great stop when we are out touring on our Harleys.

We had at least one in Milwaukee. It was on Sherman Blvd, a few blocks north of Villard Ave, probably on Florist. I hadn’t thought about that place in years. It was fairly close to our high school yet I knew no one that ate there as even then we had a local very Roadfood-type hangout called "The Corner Cafe".

I’ve read about alot of people calling them nasty.. Ones I’ve had where pure heaven.. Must have been the location.. (I’ve had both Montague and Fort Wayne (FW location now defunct).. Along with the mandatory mug of root beer). Only one left around here now is Montague, but Muskegon may be firing up from Shens reports! (Would make it about a 45 minute drive from here, that I’d be more then happy to do).. But again, until I hit the left coast of Michigan, Yesterdog in Grand Rapids will have to hold me over… 🙂

They were in Indiana and Illinois, too. Plus maybe Wisconsin; not sure about Iowa, Minnesota, or Ohio.

I believe the correct address is 4221 Grand Haven Rd. I live 45 minutes away and havent checked out the new location yet. Tried calling the phone number but there was no answer. Anyone have info on when either the Montague or Whitehall location will open?

Do you have the address of the Muskegon location? This will take 20 miles off my car for my occasional Texas Burger fix.

ShenB, I was in the Grand Rapids area every summer from 1989 through 2003 driving and instructing at Grattan Raceway in Belding with the BMW club. The club has since switched tracks to Gingerman Raceway in South Haven, a great area for summer peaches. As kids, we always vacationed in South Haven, home of Sherman Dairy, a wonderful ice cream shop. The first time I ever experienced triple nickle speeds on a motorcycle was on the Red Arrow Highway.

    Hi,
It is funny I saw this post today. We had a Dog and Suds in Ft. Wayne, In. It closed and after some time a Sonic opened up. Sonic was there for a couple of years but folded. A year goes by and all of the sudden the Dog and Suds re-opens at the same site. Glad to see it back I must say.
