I too have lost my parents, mom was the most recent 2 weeks before Christmas 2004…..
It did hit home for me also…..

Thanks.. That hit me– This was my first Christmas without my mom. She passed away in January and this has, without a doubt, been my toughest year yet. I have lost several other people in the past- including my father, both brothers a mother in law and husband ( that was hard too but) this loss, of my mom, has been the hardest to accept. I am 45 (almost ..) yrs old and it still hurts like if i were a little kid.. I really enjoyed this page- it reminded me that all those that have been ‘lost’ will never truly be gone. They live on forever in our hearts..
