Does anyone do christmas tree lots weekend and nights I am in the phoenix metro area?
If I were in Phoenix, I would go find a golf driving range to set up at, especially during the week at lunch time. If there are any local leagues the guys normally come out to hit a bucket of balls and will normally grab a dog or sandwich before heading to the course. At least it was like that here in MI, I don’t know the driving range scene in Phoenix but it might be worth a look.
There used to be a very local element to Christmas tree selling. The trees were not local (here at least)…but local garden centers and even off-season ice cream peeps would have their lots full. Now it is much about Home Depot or vacant lots/side of the busy road selling. Not much charm or romance to that.
I don’t know how it is to buy a Christmas tree in warm weather. Here it might be coffee hot chocolate chestnuts pretzels and hot dogs…of course. It is not Christmas without them! [;)]
Phoenix could be a round of golf before the tree…and a cool drink.
Yeah, I am looking for that next angle too and I know someone had mentioned Tree lots before, but…
they seem pretty dead to me. At least in my neck of the woods.
About four have suddenly popped up around town, each in a vacant parking lot. I don’t see the traffic being very substantial – I could see maybe setting up for a period of time if there was one main one, were everyone went too, but the tree lots I have seen are pretty small.
I would love to here from anyone out there that has done this before and if it worked for them –
I was wondering the same thing.
christmas tree lots?
