I love fresh celery leaves mixed into egg salad and tuna salad, a nice flavor.
Hmm. Never tried that but I love garlic bread- thanks for the idea!
Am making the garlic bread right now…And freezing the herbs. Thanks SO much!!Ann
EXCELLENT idea. [8D]
I love celery leaves on garlic bread. Make your own garlic bread and instead of oregano, add lots and lots of celery leaves.
Thanks Felix4067-the ice cube idea sounds like it will work for me!![:)]
I usually tie the stems with string and hang them upside down to dry. You can also freeze them in ice cubes (1 tablespoon herbs per cube), and keep them for later use (the water just adds to whatever you’re making, not that big a deal).
My friend gave me some beautiful homegrown celery recently.the leaves are absolutely gorgeous and I would like to keep them for soups, etc..what is the best way to keep them?Freeze or dry them somehow?Same question for fresh tarragon and basil…Thanks!!!!!Ann
