Burner box on cart.
I went today for the first time and looked at a local hot dog cart for sale. Seems to me these guys building them are making a decent buck. The actual trailer portion is what you can find at the local harbor freight store. Then you add your diamond plate for the sides which are just pop riveted together, a top with a rectangular hole for the heating elements, and so on. Not to difficult.
So I’m feeling adventurous and sat down and priced out material and came to a cost of about $900. I think that might even be on the high side. One thing I am not sure of is the burner box. I didn’t get a real good look at the one today but is it just more stainless steel in the rectangle shape mounted to the rest of the box? Any particular type of stainless steel?
I might just build my own if I can get the info I need. In fact I may even make it a bit longer to accommodate a small fridge.
So any help on the box where the burners sit?
Maybe there is a place that sells replacement parts for carts?
Thanks for your help!!
