A couple of months ago I stopped at https://www.facebook.com/pages/Bradkes/385425551531474 Bradke’s in Neenah, WI for a Monday morning breakfast.
A nasty winter storm was howling about and this is the only shot I could get with the wind at my back. Can’t go wrong with a place that has the “EAT” sign, right?
The view from my counter seat. There was 1 table of 2 people when I got there and later on 2 more people came in, but other than that the place was empty and the manager/server on duty was saying that the owner was thinking of shutting down for the day.
My half order of biscuits and gravy, which I thought was excellent. The gravy had the right consistency and the right amount of sausage, and excellent flavor.
The eggs and potatoes were solid, and I really liked the house-made beef hash. It was fried just right, with a nice mix of crunch and soft.
I’d actually been thinking about stopping elsewhere for breakfast on my way home but changed to Bradke’s because of the weather, and am glad I did.
Beef hash? Sounds wonderful as does the biscuit and gravy. Sure wish we had hometown diners here instead of Hometown Buffets. Those eggs are perfect!
Great looking breakfast. Hash looks like seconds!

Yes, Brad, solid place…love the HUGE Eat sign. My car repair shop used to be next door.
