[p]Best turtle soup I ever had was at the old Fitzgerald’s restaurant out on Lake Pontchartrain in NOLA. Rich, flavourful and not a mock turtle version at all. Great soup. Had a very disappointing bowl of it from Remoulade’ in the Quarter a few years ago. Not very good at all. I would have expected a better version from Arnaud’s recipe book. Sadly, it’s not a soup that is readily available in restaurants any more, as it is hands down my favourite.[/p]
