For Akron, my one must eat stop is Swenson’s Drive-In. http://www.swensonsdriveins.com For me, a Galley Boy (double cheeseburger) or a Sloppy Joe, Potato Puffs and a California (ginger ale & grape soda) make a perfect quick meal.
From Columbus to Erie, I would stop in at White Turkey Drive-In in Conneaut, almost to the Pa. border and just a few minutes off of I-90. http://www.whiteturkey.com I like the Large Marge, which is a turkey sandwich with cheese and bacon. They also have good shakes and sundaes. And they place is great to look at! If there are no seats left at the counter, there are picnic tables in the back. Open only in the summer.
Barberton Chicken!!! (assuming you’d go from Columbus to Y-town on 71 North to 76 East)
Or between Columbus and Erie?
Anywhere good between Columbus & Youngstown?
