Miss Kay is in Nashville, TN this weekend at the Southern Women Forum as a guest speaker.

Willie is coming to a small town near here in a few weeks, as a guest speaker at an event used as a fund raiser for the local high school.

    Osgood, IN – Jac-Cen-Del HS

Uncle Si has been married to the same woman for 43 years.  She has never been on an episode, neither has the oldest son Al, just the 3 younger sons Willie, Jase and Jep.

They’re a nice, clean cut,(Except for the beards, guns and Chewin Bacca) group. Very Religious. I think one of the boys is a preacher.

Watched a re-run last nite and one line cracked me up!
“The Boys decide to camp out as is the custom the night before duck season opens. Buildin’ a fire, swattin’ mosquitoes, wrestling putting up the tent etc. and along comes Willie in an RV.
Jase, his brother says, “If it’s enclosed and has wheels on it, it ain’t campin’, It’s Parkin””
    Just struck me funny.

I love this show! Just discovered it and was surprised how much I like this family. They may look rough but the “boys” are both college educated and well spoken and are raising good wholesome families. It’s a funny contrast that the older men all live the old backwoods way and their wives and kids look straight out of normal suburbia.

I am impressed with the ending where the entire family gets together and Phil says a prayer before dinner.

This TV Show is a Hoot and a Half![lol][lol][:D][8D]
Any of you folks on the “Firearm Lovers” Thread need to check out this show! It’s right up your alley.
For those who never saw it, It’s about a Redneck family that became Multi-Millionaires by making Duck Calls.
They may be rich, but they’re still Rednecks and funny. Distant cousins of Larry The Cable Guy!
They look like losers in a ZZ Top Look Alike Contest!
Miss Kay is the revered matriarch of the family. What she says goes. You can get her recipes for Banana Pudding, Biscuits and Swiss steak on the web site.
