That’s interesting. I hadn’t heard about the new place.
While you have a nice review of Lenny & Joes Fish Tale in Westbrook, CT, to fill it out you should also review their newer site in New Haven, CT at 501 Long Wharf Drive. A more upscale venue than their Madison or Westbrook sites, the first sight you see on entering is a long bar, where you can eat as well as drink. Having the wife and two grandchildren aboard, we opted instead for a table next to the large windows overlooking the New Haven waterfront. Great view. A friendly waitress helped the teenagers through the menu…we finally opted for the scallops, a lobster roll, and two varieties of fish. All were cooked exactly as we were accustomed to in the Westbrook location, and the prices were not that much different. We were told about a waterfront walkway to work off the calories, but didn’t take advantage of it.

[/p][p]Except for the bread I just make them the way they were made at just about every neighborhood Italian grocery store in the New Haven area when I was growing up. If I could get the bread here I’d really be in Heaven.[/p][p]
