Very sorry to hear.
Seafarer John — R.I.P. 🙁
(always enjoyed reading conversations between him & Grampy)
His posts almost always seemed to have a real philosophical bent…they were enjoyable to read.
Sorry to hear about all of them…….I got to know some of them fairly well.
I've got to add Picky Peggy to the list. Although she didn't post here she did attend several road food events over the years with me. The last fun trip she and I ever got to take together was the Buffalo and Rochester bus tour in 2009. We were unable to ride the bus since she was on oxygen and it would've been quite hard for her to climb in and out of the bus.
She passed 2/17/2012.
And to note Dickie Estep was a first cousin of mine, he was a lot of fun to be around.
Thank you Dale.
Nice family story…thanks Dale.
Sorry to hear….

Awww- sad to hear.
It is with GREAT sadness and tear filled eyes that I must add my dear friend and brother to this list.
FIELDTHISTLE passed away January 20, 2015 in Hinton VA.
Thanks so much to WJ for calling and letting me know of Dennis Brown’s passing. Like he and CarolinaBob mentioned, Dennis was one of the good guys. He was very frank about his health, yet remained in high spirits and loved to talk Carolina bbq. He will be missed!
Rest in Peace – Bushie
Sad news. I always enjoyed his posts also. Thanks for posting BB.
I am so sorry to learn about Dennis Brown’s passing. I shared a meal of Carolina bbq with Dennis and his wife Wendy at Lexington #1 about three years ago; they were a very nice couple and I do remember Dennis mentioning that he was dealing with a major medical condition. This is really depressing news.
