About Cuisine

Dedicated seafood restaurants can be as down-to-earth as a clam bar attached to a fishing dock or as hoity-toity as New York’s Le Bernardin. Roadfood-seafood eateries tend to be less formal (catfish parlors, clam shacks, lobster pounds), although not necessarily inexpensive. While a majority of excellent seafood places are found near ocean, stream, or lake, a handful of inland restaurants make a point of providing customers with the freshest seafood modern transportation can allow (i.e. Coleman’s of Wheeling, West Virginia)
