Restaurants in Nashville, TN

Nashville has its fair share of tourist-oriented restaurants, and some, like the Loveless Cafe and Monell’s, are good indeed; but consider some of the lesser-known eateries for a true taste of the Music City. Among them are the Pancake Pantry, serving the likes of sweet potato pancakes with ginger cream syrup. Nashville is the nexus of meat-and-3 dining, and there is no better place to savor that than Arnold’s Country Kitchen (lunch only, Monday through Friday). Several places in and around town make a specialty of Nashville hot chicken and its corollary dish, hot fish. The daddy of them all is Prince’s Hot Chicken Shack. For a delicious trip back in time. have a seat at the Elliston Place soda Shop and tuck into country ham and biscuits or southern fried chicken followed by some of the best banana pudding in the South.
