Kimball Farm Ice Cream
Review by: Stephen Rushmore Jr.
With weathered fluorescent’s under the eaves giving everything a ’50s yellow tint, Kimball Farms ice cream stand sits right in the middle of pastoral Carlisle, a thickly forested village with ancient stone fences and absolutely no commercial development (fast food, strip malls, condos, etc.). Without even a traffic light to interrupt the mood of this fiercely rural community, Kimball Farms serves hearty flavors to customers, many of whom drive from a few towns over to experience these frozen confections.
