Seafood Stew

The line between seafood stew and chowder is a hazy one, but generally speaking, seafood stew is different from chowder because it is made without potatoes. Stew can be little more than pieces of fish, lobster meat, oysters, and/or shrimp swimming in a bowl of warm milk and melted butter. Or it can be as complicated as cioppino.
