Pass Key
Review by: Roadfood Team
Pass Key is a small chain in Pueblo. The signature sandwich is the Pass Key Special, a sausage and cheese hoagie.
They have four locations (one of which is named Pagano’s) and if you can’t find one, just ask anyone in town. It is an Italian-style restaurant that sort of looks like it could be a key maker’s shop from the outside. They are family-owned and a staple of Pueblo. After high school games, everyone usually comes to Pass Key’s to hang out and celebrate.
What to eat at Pass Key
Their signature entrée is called the Pass Key Special. Basically, it’s a sausage and cheese hoagie; it usually comes with pepperoncini, and fries. And it is delicious! Whenever I travel to Pueblo, I always get one for eating there, and then I special order one with egg for breakfast the next morning.
It’s definitely a not-to-miss stop if you find yourself in the area.
