Hunt’s Seafood Restaurant and Oyster Bar

Hunt’s Seafood Restaurant and Oyster Bar is an old converted gas station in Dothan, Alabama that serves some of the best seafood in the area.  We took a trek down there to give a few of these dishes a try and we were not disappointed to say the least!

What should I eat at Hunt’s Seafood Restaurant and Oyster Bar?

Start off with a dozen freshly shucked oysters and then move on to big plates of fried shrimp or scallops. The plates at Hunts’ Seafood Restaurant and Oyster Bar are large portions and worth the money.  But don’t forget about the fried crab claws.  This restaurant is famous for this dish and it is not to be missed.  We didn’t get to try them, but the Grouper bites were something that many people around us were digging into.
