Wiener Schnitzel

Literally meaning Viennese cutlet, wiener schnitzel is a standard item in restaurants that serve European cuisine. Traditionally, it is made of veal that is breaded and pan-fried. Pork and chicken are common substitutes for the veal. Add ham and cheese to the cutlet and you have cordon bleu.
