Blintzes

A blintz is a crepe rolled into a tubular shape that encloses pot cheese or fruit, then fried in butter and served with sour cream and/or apple sauce or fruit compote. Blintzes are a common item on Jewish deli menus and in kosher Jewish homes for meals that are strictly dairy. They are served warm, as breakfast or dessert.
