The ultimate fried chicken

There are no words to describe the crunchy on the outside and juicy on the inside fried chicken that is made in Barberton, OH.  In this episode Misha has an epic journey to taste this style of chicken at multiple locations.  He first goes to Belgrade Gardens and has a front row seat to the making of the chicken and condiment of choice, hot rice.  The chicken is made by hand with small chickens.  It is cooked at a low heat and deep fried in lard.  The hot rice is a mixture of onions and tomatoes that pulls the flavors together for a unique experience.

Easy rider

What is better than a plate of fried chicken?  New friends who lend you their motorcycle for a taste of what it is to be a Barberton resident.  Misha and a group of locals hop on their motorcycles and see Barberton from a different vantage point.  They tour the town to see how it has shifted from a mainly manufacturing area, to an area that is struggling to find its new identity.  This fact does not slow the locals down, nor does it dampen their love for the place they call home.

The polka

Finally, Misha gets the experience he has always wanted.  He dances the polka with a local expert who shows him the ropes around the dance floor.  At first, he seems a little nervous to show off his skills, but soon enough he gets in there and dances with the best of them.

Can’t wait to see this episode. Misha is such an endearing person to watch interacting with everyone and caring so much. We should all endeavor to be more like Misha 🙂

I love every episode. They are all amazing. I loved seeing Misha dance with that sweet lady, It’s always a pleasure to watch him and how he interacts with others, there’s not even enough words to say how amazing he is and how great this sow is.
