Great Horse!!!!!
OUCH! Great race.
It was #5 in the lead, followed by #8 and bringing up the rear #6. I picked Zenyatta to W,P, or S, and was not disappointed. Only lost by a nose literally.Wish we had OTB here like we used to a few years ago.
David O.
It was a spectacular loss ! Three or so more strides and she might have got her nose in front for the win. It was a good day at Churchill Downs despite her losing the record-breaking race.
but the calvin borrell fight was awesome to watch again and again, 8 security gaurds to hold one jockey back, not that is a man with some fight in him.
Any other sport… he would not have been back in action the next day!
Oh no, 10 wins is still a spectacular feat.
Stay safe, Zenyatta!

Mar 52—- if it’s a good rCE YOU WILL SEE IT OVER AND OVER on TV.
If Zenyatta comes in last or just runs a lousy race you will never hear the name again. Maybe.
Big, Beautiful and FAST!
Zenyatta!
Wish I could watch her make history today at work.
Good luck, Zenyatta!
Breeder’s Cup Racing is getting the full ‘Derby treatment’ in the Louisville media this week. Even with the temps in the lo 30’s in the pre-dawn workouts the local stations are all on watch at the Downs !! We have hosted the BC races at Churchill Several times, but this year there seems to be a huge amount of publicity for the races…and especially for Zenyatta ! She reminds me of BIG BROWN a couple of years ago.
Great horse, no brains in the saddle
Zenyatta always comes from behind—-so Mike waited a few seconds too long. When he finally whispered in her ear she took off and flew, but alas and alak there’ll be no joy in Mudville mighty Zenyatta done come in second.
I wrote it 3 times just in case you never heard of HER.
She is a racehorse, who like JoePa is going for the big one
today. Undefeated in 19 races—–She is going to hang up her
horseshoes and take life easy after today’s Breeders Cup Race.
Big, beautiful female——-you can watch her do her thing—in
the flesh—–at 645 EST. She won’t have it easy going agsinst
some good old boys down in Kentucky, but she may retire 20-0.
A very rich babe, single and unattached.
Guiness Book Of Records hold a spot for Zenyatta.
What do you think the problem was at the start- just a poor start out of the gate for Zenyaetta or did Mike Smith blow it-keeping her at the back of the pack for too long?
Smith rode the first half of the race like he was asleep, no way Zenyaetta, should have been back there catching a ton of dirt in her face, he should have broken wide or midpack and let her do her thing, another 5 yds. she wins. No wonder he cried, he knew he blew it.
