Hi all, we’ve set up a website that handles last minute restaurant bookings called YumTable at http://www.yumtable.com . The basic idea is to help restaurants fill tables at times of low patronage or when they get last minute cancellations, great for current challenging economic times.
 
The site is available for all restaurants to post daily or recurring offers for whatever time they wish and there is no set up or equipment costs. Bookings are received by either SMS text message or a phone call to your restaurant. We’ve been trialling the service in Melbourne Australia and it’s been a big hit. Our website and iPhone app allows hungry customers to find local deals wherever they are and to facilitate the booking through the app.
 
We realize that our site is a big benefit to helping turn empty tables into profits and all restaurants can sign up with 20 free SMS bookings to try the service out – nothing to lose really.
