Clams are always good……………….BUT!!!!!!!!!!!!  If you can ever get a Linguica Pizza ( Mostly SE Mass), you will turn up your nose at every pepperoni or sausage pizza again! Put them together………..NIRVANA!

Hypocrite! Seriously, I used to have a girl friend in New Bedford who worked in a pizza joint! You are SO right![8D]

I am partial to anchovies. Not the canned ones, the good ones you can get in a jar at Whole Foods (Whole Paycheck)

A little bit of freshly grated Pecorino Romano or Parmigiano Reggiano over some chopped fresh Roma tomatoes, garlic, olive oil and some fresh oregano. That’s all.

I also agree  …  That is a great pizza.  Though I might drop the oregano and add basil.  If the tomatoes can be San Marzano tomatoes, then that’s a bonus.

Yep, San Marzano, are the best. Makes a perfect tomato sauce for pasta, also!

My favorite pizza is a BLT pizza, it’s a cheese pizza topped with loads of bacon & after cooking they add a layer of cold crisp lettuce, I use Ranch dressing on top, my daughter likes hers with mayo. Must say my all time favorite pizza is a white clam pizza with a butter cheese crust.

Pepperoni, mushrooms, black olives & onions (for starters)   🙂
No-nos:  italian sausage (too many bad memories from school lunches with the
greasy pizza laden with italian sausage & fennel seeds — still have trouble today
if I accidentally swallow the seeds)  & anchovies (not much of a fish on pizza fan)
