PP, how did they end up as (Very Good) pop makers? Never saw the Beer.
Speaking of bat piss, anyone from So Cal remember Brew 102?
It pleases me that somebody remembers Thomas Kemper. Will Kemper was my mentor back in the day.
That reads like a blast from the past.
"Blast" is right. With a list like that I suspect DD’s underwear brand isn’t Hanes or Jockey, but Odor-Eaters.[xx(][}:)]
Someone gave my dad a 12-pack of Hamm’s for Christmas back in 1981. Even though I was underage at the time he didn’t object when I took it back to college with me…I didn’t realize until later that he got the better of that deal.[;)]
you EastCoasters are a funny bunch. I count 60 22 oz bomber styles alone at my local grocery store, and 100’s of 6packs most from West of the Mississippi[8D][;)] and good.[}:)] Falstaff[xx(][?]
Falstaff in the 11 oz bottle
Olympia in the ball (Oly Ball)
Coors pop top
Leinenkugel’s Honey or Berry Weiss
Pete’s Wicked Ale—-does this count as beer if it’s called ale?
That reads like a blast from the past. You weren’t old enough to drink those beers in their prime marketing years of the 60s. [;)]
In no particular order.
Pabst Blue Ribbon
Sierra Nevada Pale Ale
We were just up near Lagunitas, but went to Dempsey’s instead and had the Christmas Barleywine.
Even though the NW beers are great, gotta second Davydd on Bells.I could really use a Two Hearted Ale right now. I also like all the Trappist beers from Belgium. And most of the Abbey beers from Belgium.
Watney’s Red Barrel.
Oops. After some web searching, it seems as though it is gone.
Earl of Sandwich
Does anyone know if Stroh’s is still made. It was my fave but I have not seen it in years.
We’re getting Sam Adams for $2.88 a 6 pack this week. Not bad for that price.
I’m a Lagunitas Man, for the most part:
