….and where beautiful women instinctively flock like the salmon of Capistrano.
You need to go to a little place called "Aspin" where the beer flows like wine! [8D]
Gregg, even a pub Guinness can vary greatly. You are right about it better be a busy pub that goes through Guinness fast. The Local Irish pub in Minneapolis on Nicollet Mall will pour an excellent Guinness but the Newsroom right across the street from the Local will more often be stale and flat.
The Guinness cans with the widget in them are not too far off. You have to pour it in a glass to drink it properly. Drinking straight out of the can is not an option (for me). The Guinness bottled variety doesn’t do anything for me. I won’t buy the bottles.
I love Guinness. Problem is there is no way to have it at home that approaches the texture of a well poured one at a busy pub.
To my knowledge you can’t get it in "pony" sized kegs?
Dude? you forgot Red,White & Blue, Billy Beer and No Brand

The best beer I ever had in my life was whatever they had in the "honor fridge" at the Rolling Hills Golf Course in New Bedford, PA. (This was more than 40 years ago and was under prior ownership). I was 16 then; no beer since has ever tasted better!
Presently, five of the six-pack of Coors Light I bought to accompany nachos & cheese for the Dallas-New England game are still in the fridge.
I loves me some Molson Canadian 6.0 Cold Shots.[;)]
