Dad and I ate at Andy’s about two years ago and thought it was very good. It was a bit pricier, hipper, and trendier than the typical Middle Eastern restaurants I’ve visited. Still, worth a try.

I eat far less meat than I used to, so I’m always on the lookout for this sort of thing.

I’ll echo Through the Garden. A terrific place, whether you eat meat or not. Try the Portobello sandwich.

And as middle Eastern goes, Andy’s Mediterranean, near Eden Park, is supposed to be about the best around.

Also any Middle Eastern restaurant will have abundant veggie options.

I think you’ll be pleased with Myra’s – I’ve never known any veggie to have anything but praise for the place.

Well, I actually have no idea what stock(s) are added to what foods because I like meats. It’s never been a concern of mine, so I never take note what places do this and what places don’t….so all I can do is point you to the pure vegetarian places…..sorry

i didn’t mean to complain about your answer. i just meant if anyone else reading this had ideas that weren’t necesssarily all veg, they could add them. i noticed a lot of people had looked, but not many responded so i was trying to further clarify what i wanted. i actually thought i’d try myra’s since 2 of u mentioned it and it’s near where i was going.

Dad and I have eaten at Myra’s Dionysus across the street from the University of Cincinnati. Very good food in a funky, college kid oriented atmosphere.

Have heard Through the Garden in Blue Ash has a good vegetarian selection. Not one myself so can’t comment on the place.

Myra’s in Clifton and Amma’s Kitchen in Reading are two vegetarian-focused restaurants in Cincinnati. I’m not a veg myself, but I have heard good things from others about these two from folks who are.

I see you are in Lexington – I don’t know anything about Lexington, but maybe some Lexington readers can chime in
