RBM, usually the stories you pass along are spot-on but I’m going to have to nit-pick this one a little bit.[;)]
“The chef at Uptown Charlotte s most popular food cart and star of last year s hilarious https://www.charlottestories.com/vic-the-chiliman-cooks-up-some-cardinals-birdstew-for-the-panthers-nfc-championship-game-video Panther birdstew videos (https://www.charlottestories.com/panthers-vs-seahawks-playoff-birdstew-cooking-with-the-chiliman Seahawks and https://www.charlottestories.com/vic-the-chiliman-cooks-up-some-cardinals-birdstew-for-the-panthers-nfc-championship-game-video Cardinals) was https://www.yelpblog.com/2017/07/hot-dog-yelps-top-ten-wieners-america recently ranked by Yelp as making the best hot dog in America.”
Actually, the https://blog.yelp.com/2017/07/hot-dog-yelps-top-ten-wieners-america Yelp list (published 2 years ago, which isn’t “recently” to me) from which this story was created makes no mention of “best”, just “we re counting down a compiled a list of the 10 most Yelped-about tube steaks across the land.”
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lou_Grant Lou Grant would’ve never let this story get on the air or go to press![:D]
Imagine my surprise that a hot dog cart in Charlotte makes “the best hot dog in the US”. I know it’s highly subjective, but I am glad to see it went to cart owner and not some upscale brick and mortar joint!
