At one time, the ubiquitous coffee shop would make and fry their goodies on the premises, but as the years have gone by, the taste has changed quite a bit. Not dramatically, but it is not as good as it used to be. I wondered why. Found out the products are shipped frozen, just left to thaw.
That is sad. I can get that the grocery store! Cutting costs, make huge profits. I guess many do not care..but these are not the donuts I used to remember.
the only donut i buy from tim hortons are the sour cream tim bits.everything else is awful.had a cream donut last year and there was hardly any filling.
[p]September 10.[/p][p]When I’m out of town I often check the HM daily offerings to see what I’m missing. While I was in Providence and Maine I saw that on two different occasions there was blueberry pie, and I missed it. I came back yesterday afternoon and am leaving tomorrow for North Carolina, and when I looked today, there was cherry. Off I went.[/p][p]
