I’ve heard about those being developed, although I have never seen one at the market. I have found that, if one can get past the intense heat, habeneros have an interesting fruitiness. The great thing about the new mild ones may be that one will be able to increase the amount of peppers in a dish without incinerating one’s mouth. [:p][:p][:p]

I have grown habaneros before and they were always yellow or orange. I have never ever seen a red one???

As soon as I’m finished here, I’m ordering, thank you so much for bringing this to our attention. I love different peppers.

This new pepper reminds me of one I get often, the Puerto Rican Aji Dulce: All the flavor, not heat. Thanks again roossy90.

No offense but what’s the point if we use Habanero’s for their "HEAT" and not for their taste per say? On the other hand they sure are a pretty pepper. they look like miniture red bell peppers.
