I have not eatin at The Bronx but yes Twin, those other places are good also. Hmmm, what is the name of that place behind the Trade Mart?
The thing about the food at Circle Grill is that it is made as close as possible to the way it was made 40 years ago. A little known secret is their Tex Mex items. The make a great plate of cheese enchalads.
Joe, I haven’t eaten there in years. However, I don’t remember it being any better than some of the other "down home" places in Dallas. I usually end up going to Mama Daughter’s Diner on Harry Hines.Or, that "diner" place on Harry Hines Blvd in back of the Dallas Trade Mart. It’s actually, my favorite. And, there is also "The Bronx" on Cedar Springs just off Oak Lawn. IMHO, all the above are better than Good Eats.
I know there was some talk here about this place but I couldn’t find it with the search. It moved for awhile but now it’s back on Buckner Blvd. just north of I-30. I started eating there as a teenager 40+ years ago. Downright GREAT down home Texas food! I hear some of the same waitresses who worked there years ago are still working there. Anyone else have the pleasure of eating at the Circle Grill?
