I grew up in Paterson too and went to Teddy’s a lot. It was great. I once asked John Fox, foremost authority on New Jersey hot dogs, about whether the old Teddy’s is still there. He has mentioned there is a newer Teddy’s in Paterson, which is apparently unrelated to the one you and I know about. He also said that back in the 50s and 60s there were a lot more Texas wiener places in Paterson (and that area) than there are now.
Teddy’s used to sell their chili seasoning in the supermarket. Toby’s was popular too, and I’m sure it’s gone, as well.
