CP-
For it to be THAT good immediately after opening is rather amazing! Can’t wait to try it out ourselves, although we were just recently in Birmingham and have no immediate plans to return.
Thanks for the great photos.
Birmingham just got a brand new player in BBQ and it makes me so jealous here in Georgia. I stopped through a few days after Rodney Scott opened his new digs in the Avondale neighborhood and luckily found a parking spot. I have now visited Hemingway,Charleston, and Birmingham and cant pick a favorite among the three. VERY consistent at all of them.
Even got a chance to chat with and shake the mans hand.
Whole hogs were in various stages of prep.
Three meat sampler with whole hog, ribs, and turkey plus mac&cheese with collards.
Oh baby….and to think, you could have delivered to MSP!
Wow…wow…
Oh, man! That’s just what I needed! Another awesome place to eat BBQ in Alabama. I have enough problems fitting in the ones I already love and now Rodney has to go and add another one? *sigh*
All that food looks great and those collards are absolutely mouthwatering! Oh, how I envy you, CP!
Except for seeing the interior of the pig those are wonderful photos! That looks so good!
Fabulous report!
I had a salad tonight. Jealous!
