I was leaving the hotel from (a very hot and humid weekend of working up there) and was pulling onto the 11 Bypass and traffic was lurching and stopping and weaving in the way that you just knew that something unusual was happening.

Something that is probably not all that unusual was happening.

A ten to twenty pound racoon was making its way acroos the ramp hindered by a tin can stuck on its head.

I could tell that everyone heading up the ramp in their cars/trucks/campers slowed down, looked at the situation and wondered if there was anything they could do to help the critter.
