Sounds the same to me but I watched him eat them. They were pearly white and he seemed to enjoy them????
Personally I do not care for any caviar although many do. I guess that caviar is so expensive????
I have had caviar many times and to me, they were fishy and not so good even with vodka and onions and cream cheese. Go figure??

I didn’t even know that snails were ‘egg-layers’…if they are??? The price must be based on the speed and volume of the ‘Caviar’ production, which must be labeled “Snail-Paced’ !!![lol]
I have had caviar from many types of fish but today I saw for the second time on Bizzare Foods with Andrew Zimmern about snail eggs being produced in France.
I had a bit of difficulty understanding this but apparently many folks do not. At $1500.00 per kilo, it is a very expensive experience.
If any of you have experienced this, I would appreciate your thoughts.
