Yeah Jim, Ted Peters does serve fish spread, and has been for the last 52 years. I eat about a 1/2 pint a day myself and I love it. Its is made with our our own smoked mullet which is cooked over red oak from Georgia. We then take the mullet and pick all the meat off and bring it to the consistancy of what tuna fish might look like. From there we add onions and celery and Miricle Whip. Exact recipies of course I can’t give out but the key is in the smoking of the fish.
We don’t ship our fish or spread. If someone may want some I might be able to ship some personally for you, just contact me for details. Thanks for the question and I hope I was informative for you. Ken
Great hearing from you, Ken.
I’d like to know if Ted Peter’s Famous Smoked Fish serves mullet dip. I’ve had a huge curiosity about this food for some years now. Would you mind telling us a bit about how it’s made, even if it’s not available at your place.
If you do make and serve it at Ted Peter’s, do you ship it as well?
I would be happy to answer any questions and to let everyone know I am in the planning process of providing smoked fish, mullet mainly, to anyone who wants it in the United States and beyond. It is truely a Florida specialty and is, umm, ummm good. Look forward to talking to ya’ll. Ken
