Wait, you’re still having pie without me!?!

All sound very interesting and delicious, but what in the Sam Hill is crack pie?

Wait, I saw that it is Nutella Crack Pie.

Regretfully, I will probably not be attending this year.
Sorry, and I’ll miss you all.

You still haven’t seen our NOLA inspired kitchen. [:(]

Wow!  Now that would be a Pie Fest to remember!  Maybe Mr. Hoffman could pick up a few pints of Graeter’s ice cream as he passed through Cincinnati so we could make the best pie ala mode ever (not that the Pie Diva’s pies need the ala mode).

As for Michael’s confusion, yes, I believe JRPfeff was implying, as you said, that you were posting from lleechef’s computer.  I can’t imagine anyone having anything bad to say about her.  And yes, JRPfeff’s comment (#61) was just a little bit amusing.

Damn you and your adventurous, travel filled life!  Can’t you just stay home for once and drink beer with your friends???

    Enviously,

After almost everyone left, two of Eric’s friends arrived.  One tried and succeeded in doing something that CTD, bb, & TTM combined could not do.  He successfully sampled each of the pies in the Pie Parade.

Wait a second–are we talking full slices here or just a half a forkful per pie?  Because if it’s full slices I want to meet that boy and shake his hand, although not too vigorously lest he “return” some of that pie.  If we’re talking about just a forkful per pie, I’m not sure any of the big boys could limit themselves to that small amount, hence the task would be impossible.

I think we need some clarification here.

Oh, I am sure Jim will be taking leftovers back to Arizona. Whether he will be sharing is another matter.

Hope the TSA Goons don’t confiscate his loot!
With all the stuff those folks scarf up, they eat pretty high on the hog in the Break Room!!![V][:(!]

    JRPfeff–
I have actually had sour cream blueberry pie once before, in http://www.roadfood.com/Restaurant/Overview/70/moms Utah of all places.  But what you describe sounds much better than what I had.  Actually, it sounds incredible!  I love that Piediva is putting her own spin on these recipes.

Thanks to everyone for the great pie descriptions.  I still don’t feel like I was there, but it helped!

    Ann,

To your benefit, the Poppy Seed Pie would have probably failed your drug test.

    Congrats on the new position.

The shindig is still 12 days away.  Maybe she can trade days with someone if she promises them some pie.
