Wow! I hope everyone is ok.
No deaths, over 20 people injured, two seriously.
I still remember when the Wilbur Hotel got torn apart by a tornado in the Corbin, Ky of my youth.
The people holding a camera have never been in a tornado. I have , it sucks.
We are ok. Here’s another video of the same tornado http://www.scrumptiouschef.com/2017/02/07/crazy-video-of-tornado-that-struck-new-orleans-february-7th-2017 http://www.scrumptiouschef.com/2017/02/07/crazy-video-of-tornado-that-struck-new-orleans-february-7th-2017/ you can briefly see the supermarket where we buy Hickory wood for our smoker
We too, drove through Joplin roughly a month after the tornado. There was just nothing left. Nothing. It was very, very sad.
Thanks for posting it. Very interesting to see.
WOW, I’ll never understand the people with cameras standing there taking pictures of the approaching tornado.
I drove through Joplin, Missouri a month after the tornado there and seeing it in person gives you a much different understanding of the unbelievable devastation. A camera can’t capture the emotion attached to the pictures.
Amazing video. Thanks for sharing. In Texas, we’re not strangers to tornados. But, It’s always terribly frightening being that close to one. Hope you and yours are OK.
